How Does The Commission Process Work?

Once I receive your request for a commission, I will reach out to you to make sure I have all of the details of your request including reference pictures. Once we have nailed down exactly what you are looking for I will send you a quote for the cost of the artwork. Once the quote is approved I will send you a short commission contract to sign to make sure we are both on the same page about the project. Once the contract is signed, I require a 50% non-refundable deposit to begin the work. This is to help cover my time and the materials. Once the deposit is received I will begin work. I will send you a preliminary sketch to make sure you approve the layout. Once the sketch is approved I will move forward with the piece. Once the piece is completed I will send you a picture of the completed piece for your approval. If you approve the remaining 50% of the payment will be due. After I receive the final payment, we can coordinate how you would like to receive the piece.
